Restricted Races
To be eligible for restricted races, athletes must not have won any final in any event conducted by the following organisations or their successor organisations:
- Australian Athletics Confederation and Affiliated Bodies: This includes the Victorian Athletic League (VAL) and applies to events with a prize pool of $300 or more.
- IAAF and Affiliated Bodies: This includes any State, National, or World Title events, including Junior Divisions above Under 16, but excludes School competition.
- Scottish Games Association: Athletes must not have won a final in events where the total prize pool is $300 or more.
- International Olympic Committee and Affiliated Bodies: Athletes must not have won a final in any athletics-related discipline, including, for clarity, Triathlon.
